Silicone is built to last. The same durability that makes it valuable across automobiles, cables, textiles and coatings is what makes it so difficult to recycle. For most of the market, making it new is easier than recovering the old, and so most used silicone ends up landfilled or burned.
We recover it instead. Cured silicone waste, such as seals, gaskets, moulds, keypads and offcuts, is broken back down through a controlled thermal process into a clear silicone fluid, then finished as industrial-grade PDMS and DMC. It's how what most of the market treats as waste goes back into production.
