EcoValley Silicones Pvt. Ltd. ("EcoValley", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, how we keep it secure, and your rights over it, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
1. Who we are
EcoValley Silicones Pvt. Ltd. is a silicone recycling and manufacturing company incorporated in India. Our corporate office is at 3373 A, First Floor, Mahindra Park, Rani Bagh, Delhi-110034. Our manufacturing unit is at Bhatgaon Dogran, Sonipat-131001, Haryana, India.
2. Information we collect
When you use this website or reach out to us, we may collect:
- Information you give us via the contact form or email: your name, company, email address, phone number, area of interest, and the content of your message.
- Technical information logged by our hosting provider: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer URL, and approximate geography. This is used for security and aggregate analytics only.
- The chat assistant (EVA): if you open the chat bubble and type a message, that message is sent to an AI provider so it can be answered. We use Google (Gemini) and, if Google is unavailable, Groq. Your conversation is processed to produce the reply and is not stored by us, not linked to your name, and not used to build any profile of you. EVA asks for nothing personal, so please do not type anything confidential into it. Use the contact form or email for anything sensitive.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries, quotes, and technical data sheet requests.
- To provide and improve our products and services.
- To send transactional communications directly related to your enquiry (we do not send marketing emails without opt-in).
- To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations in India.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate this website: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Resend (delivers your enquiry to our sales inbox), Cloudflare (bot protection on the contact form), Google (Analytics 4, and Gemini for the chat assistant), Groq (backup model for the chat assistant), Microsoft Clarity (usage analytics) and OpenStreetMap (map tiles on the contact page). These providers are bound by their own privacy terms and act on our instructions.
- Regulatory or legal authorities when required by Indian law.
5. Where it lives and for how long
Enquiries reach us by email and are retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request and maintain business records, typically no more than three years, after which they are deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law or an active commercial relationship. Chat assistant conversations are not retained at all.
Processing outside India. The providers named in section 4 operate servers outside India, so your data may be processed abroad. The DPDP Act permits this except to countries the Government of India restricts by notification, and we do not transfer personal data to any restricted country. Each provider is engaged under terms that require it to protect the data and to process it only for the purpose we set.
6. Your rights under the DPDP Act
As a data principal, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or updating of inaccurate data.
- Request erasure of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Withdraw consent at any time for any processing that relies on consent.
- Nominate another individual to exercise these rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with our grievance officer (details below) and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
To exercise any of these, email our grievance officer at the address in section 11 from the email address you contacted us from, and say which right you want to use. We acknowledge every request and answer it within 30 days. We may ask one question to confirm who you are before we act, and we do not charge for this.
7. Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No online transmission is ever 100% secure; we encourage you to avoid sending sensitive information through web forms.
8. Children's data
This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. External links
Our website may link to external sites (map providers, for example). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies before sharing information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
